Michael Crowther

Biostatistician and Software Developer

Michael was for many years an academic biostatistician, rising to Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Leicester, before relocating to Stockholm in 2021 to pursue some new challenges. He is an internationally renowned expert in survival analysis and joint modelling, and widely respected as a leading statistical software developer. He currently holds a 20% position as a Biostatistician at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Karolinska Institutet, is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Bristol, and spends the rest of his time running Red Door Analytics. He has developed and taught numerous courses, across the globe, in specialist statistical methods over the past 10 years.

    There is no live teaching in the course. All videos are pre-recorded. Each lesson has a discussion forum, and the course lecturer will respond to questions raised on these about the course materials.
